Collective Haul : Lush, Aesop, Chanel, and More

Hi Girls~ Sorry for the lack of posts! My sister is currently visiting me here in Cali, so I have been very busy juggling work and sightseeing/shopping lol.. Anyways, I still wanted to show you the stuff I collected over the past few weeks so here is my haul, hope you enjoy!
1. Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Mr. Punch, Snowcake
I love this time of the year because everything Lush is 50% off! I got two of the snow fairy shower gels (gave one to my sister, so it's not in the pic) which smells like bubble gum, my all time favorite soap snowcake soap, and lastly Mr. Punch Soap that smells like a fruity punch! So happy with my purchases. *^^*
2. Aesop Fabulous Face Cleanser, B & Tea Balancing Toner
So if you have been following me on instagram or twitter, you know how annoyingly excited I got over the new Aesop store XD. They were supposed to open last fall, but ended up opening during Christmas time. Anyways, I got one of their cleansers and one of their toners since I was running low on my previous ones. They are both targeted for combination skin and they're supposed to be very gentle. Will post a more in-depth review in the near future!
3. Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara in 10 Noir
I first saw this mascara on Jessica's YouTube Channel and she basically said that she liked it better than the YSL Shocking mascara, so I guess there really wasn't an option. I had to try it. The applicator looks pretty intense as well so hope it'll work for me too eep! Oh and how gorgeous is the packaging?!!!

4. YSL Glossy Stain #27
This is the perfect peachy-pink! And you know how much I love glossy stains :)
5. Caudalie Divine Oil (Sample size 30ml $15)
I've been eyeing this all- purpose oil for quite a bit since I've heard so many good things about it. Basically, you can use this oil as a face moisturizer, body lotion, or a hair treatment. I tried it on my hair already and I have to say the scent is too strong for my taste :(. It's quite moisturizing tho.
6. Ojon Damage Reverse Instant Restorative Hair Serum (sample 15ml)
100 point perk sample :). There were some good samples to pick from (like the clinique lip pencil, etc), but I picked this one because I'm always in a search for a good hair serum. Let me know if you tried it! I'd love to hear what you guys think.

And that is all for now-
I will be posting more whenever I have time ;)
Hope all is well
&
Have a great day!

*YAY* Lush Goodies ♥

I was feeling a bit down today, so I went to Lush - As you can see in the photos, I went a little cray cray than normal, but it definitely helped on lifting up my mood :). Let's take a look at what I got!

1. Back For Breakfast Shower Gel : As I walked in to the store this shower gel immediately grabbed my attention, because they had the retro packaging and all. I never used a retro product from Lush before (surprisingly!), so I'm really excited try it out :). The shower gel itself has that candy/ citrusy kind of scent that I love.
2. Jasmin & Henna Fluff Eaze : I needed a new hair mask for my ever-so-dry hair and this one looked  the most interesting. Like most Lush hair masks, this product has that very strong unpleasant scent, too, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyway. I have a review of the H'suan Wen Hua hair mask here.
3. Ro's Argan Body Conditioner : I first saw this body conditioner on Linds1986's video or something and I tried it out in the store and it seriously smelled so good I had to have it. It smells like straight up roses! Now how can you say no to that. Anyway, I think it was quite pricey and all, so I hope it works well.
4. Grass Shower Gel : I love the color of this shower gel! It's so green and weird?!! Anyway, my lush girl said that the shower gel goes well with Ro's Argan, so I'm going to try that out.
5. Love Lettuce : ... and another face mask... you know I love these little guys. I'm not going into how great they are, because I think I already have 2 or 3 posts on them lol.
6. Samples - Curly Wurly Shampoo, Retread Conditioner

That's all for my lush haul
Hope you're having a fantastic Sunday!
Enjoy every bit of it and talk to you soon
xx

P.S. Will post a birthday haul soon!

September Favorites

Happy October Girls~!
Fall is in the air and it's lovely, isn't it? Well, technically we only have two seasons (wet/dry) here in NorCal and I don't necessarily like the rainy season, but I guess it's better than being hot all day (like the last few weeks)? I don't know haha. I guess I like the pumpkins and fall decorations and all. It started to rain today, so I think I need a cute pair of rain boots, tho :). Missoni for Target perhaps? What do you think? Anyway, here are my September Favorites for you!
T-B, L-R : Lush H'suan Wen Hua, Millani Luminoso, Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, MAC Immortal Gold,
MAC Pro longwear Concealer, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Passion, MAC e/s in Sable
1. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Sand : I LOVE THIS POWDER!! It controls oils like there's no tomorrow, hardly gets cakey, and lasts for about 8 hours. Perfection.

2. MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer in NC20 : I've been breaking out like crazy during the month, so this concealer (sadly) became one of my BFFs. Lasting power is great and doesn't emphasize any dry patches.

3. Millani Baked Blush in Luminoso : Beautiful peachy pink blush - Honestly, I'm surprised how a drugstore blush can be so pigmented and soft. My only complaint is, of course, the ugly packaging.

4. MAC e/s in Sable : Sable is a shimmery reddish brown. I usually apply it all over the lid and find it incredibly easy to use - And you know what that means ; Great for busy school days!

5. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Passion : I love this tinted lip balm! It has the right amount of pigment and smells/tastes divine - sweet like brown sugar. It's somewhat less moisturizing than the original Sugar Treatment, but that's okay. The packaging is great as well.

6. MAC Nail Lacquer in Immortal Gold : If you have been reading my blog, you know how much I love this nail color. I have it on my toes today and it looks gorg <3. For those who missed it, I have an NOTD here.

7. Lush H'suan Wen Hua : I have a review in my last post. I use this once a week and my hair is much more healthier.
~ Swatches ~

..And here are my Random Favorites as usual :).
8. B&B Candles in Leaves and Marshmallow Fireside : These candles smell so delicious, I can burn them all day long. Leaves smells like cinnamon or apple pies and Marshmallow Fireside smells like toasted marshmallows with a hint of campfire. Between the two, I like Marshmallow Fireside better, because it's white and I'm a sucker for sweet scents :).
9. My H&M Boots : I've been wearing these boots quite often this month and I love how these go well with any outfit. They are not the most comfortable shoes in the world, but for $40 I think I can pass.

What were your favorites?

Review : Lush H'suan Wen Hua Hair Moisturizer

TGIF Everyone! I have yet another hair product review for you :). I've been wanting to do a post on this guy since the first time and now I finally can! Hope you enjoy <3.
1. What is it ? It's a hair mask
2. How to use? Apply the product on dry hair -> Leave in for 20-30 mins (I do 40 mins) -> Wash (Shampoo & condition your hair like you normally do). Keep it in the fridge for longer use.
3. Main Ingredients ? Fresh free range eggs, Fresh bay infusion, Bananas, Avocados. You can check the list here.
4. Pros ?
- The result is absolutely stunning : It makes the hair so soft and shiny, almost like when you get a special treatment at a salon
- Not greasy afterwards
5. Cons ?
- smell is really bad and it lingers for a few days
- It's less effective once it gets closer to the the expiration date
- takes a lot of time
6. Value ? $19.95 for 7.9 oz. My hair is a little longer than shoulder-length and I got 4 uses out of the tub. I think it's not that bad, since I no longer need to go to the salon to get treatments as often.
7. Overall Rating ? 4.5/5. I LOVE this product so much! It really makes my hair healthy and tangle-free.  It goes well with the R&B Hair Moisturizer also from Lush (this smells bad, too tho lol).
8. Repurchase ? Yes!

Mini Lush Haul

L-R : Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask, Gorgeous Moisturizer, Imperialis Moisturizer
Hey Girls~ I randomly found out that Lush is having a moisturizer promo (selling sample-sized products for cheap)! Each sample contains 12g and they cost roughly around $3-$10. As soon as I knew what was going on, I immediately grabbed Gorgeous which is an 80-something-dollar moisturizer that I fell in love a long time ago, but never repurchased because of the price. Then, my Lush Girl said that Imperialis is supposed to be a good moisturizer for combination skin, so I got that as well. And lastly, I needed a new face mask, so I grabbed Love Lettuce. If you've been reading my blog, you know I love Catastrophe Cosmetic (blueberry scent) the most and might think, 'What is going on with her? Why is she buying that lettuce mask all the time?'. I certainly don't know what's going on (if my skin changed or the formula changed..), but I think I've changed my mind - Love Lettuce is my number one for now :).

Haul : Lush, CVS, and More

Hi Lovelies ^_^
I haven't posted a haul in a while and thought now would be the perfect time since I picked up a few stuff~ Hope you enjoy reading!
Lush H'suan Wen Hua & Ultrablast
H'suan Wen Hua is supposed to be a really good hair mask so I thought I would give it a try since my hair is finding its way lately -_-;. I also got Love Lettuce (which is one of my favorite masks), but think my bf took it lol, so I couldn't take a picture. I'm sure you all know how it looks like tho. And last but not the least, I got Ultrablast which is a solid tooth paste! Now how cool is that, right? There were several other flavors, but I liked this one the most since it had wasabi in it :D.
TRESemme Dry Shampoo & Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
Milani Luminoso is supposed to be a dupe for the infamous Stereo Rose, so I needed it in my life. It was hard to get, but SO worth it. The color is beautiful and very pigmented :). TRESemme Dry shampoo was simply for my Friday morning class :p.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC20
This guy was on my wish list for a really long time and I finally FINALLY made a purchase. I used it a few times to cover blemishes and I can say that I like it already. It stays for a really long time and doesn't flake out. I wish the color was a tinge warmer tho. Oh, and like everyone says, HATE the pump! :S.
Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel & Kiss Me Hand Cream
My sister brought these two from Korea and I'm so excited for them! The Aloe Vera is one of my favorite thing in the world right now and I still have to try the hand cream. Apparently, both are best sellers in Korea(Aloe Vera) and Japan(hand cream).

..and that's it for now- I'll try to post my August Favorites ASAP ;)

Haul : Sephora, MAC, Lush, and SkinCeuticals

Hi Girlies ♥
So here are the things that I recently picked up. Although there was a 15% sale at Sephora, I was really good and only got 3 things :). Along with those three things, I have an additional lipstick from MAC and some skincare products. Hope you enjoy!

1. Illamasqua Powder Blush in Hussy
I would describe this as a very bright coral-pink matte blush.  I'm so glad that I got this, because it's a gorgeous color. I swatched it and think it's even more pigmented than Nars or MAC blushes.
2. Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Black ink
Haha I know what your thinking, I'm the last person to buy this, right?
3. Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum
I ran out of my Aveda hair serum and thought this could be a good replacement. I used it once and think it's alright - this is the smallest size btw. I will do a whole review as soon as I finish the bottle :).
4. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Greed
This was a 100 point perk gift. Believe it or not, I haven't tried the infamous UDPP (of any kind) in my life, so I added this into my shopping cart as soon as I saw it. Greed is a Golden primer with glitter in it. Not very happy about the packaging tho.
5. MAC l/s in Creme Cup
Creme Cup is a gorgeous muted pink. I read so many good reviews on it that I had to try myself. This is in a cremesheen finish btw.
6. SkinCeuticals Clarifying Cleanser & Micro Exfoliating Scrub
I won Cheryl's Giveaway!! I know, how exciting!!^_____^ Thanks again Cheryl!
7. Lush BB Seaweed & Rising Sun Soap
Another mask... I buy these masks pretty regularly (once a week I guess), because I can't live without them - I am truly addicted. BB Seaweed is obviously made out of seaweed and is great for calming. The soap that I got is a limited edition for Japan. I think 100% of the proceeds goes directly to an organization called the Peace Boat. Love how it's for a good cause and still manages to smell good (smells like the snow cake soap).
That's it for today - Thanks for reading and Good night :)

Review : Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser

To be honest, Angels on Bare Skin is a really weird looking cleanser. It's far from the ordinary and looks like a blob of clay with some seeds in it. Normally I wouldn't try anything like this, but I kind of reached the point where I didn't have anything else to buy except for a few things at Lush lol. I've been using this for 3-4 months now, and I think it's a pretty good one.
How to use ? Grab a pea size amount of the cleanser and add water. Mix it till you get the right consistency. Apply to face (like you do with other cleansers). Wash it off with water.
Texture ? This cleanser does not lather up. As soon as you mix it with water, it will look like the third picture.
Scent ? It has a very intense herbal-y kind of scent which I like.
Ingredients ? Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis), Glycerine, Kaolin, Water (Aqua), Lavender Oil (Lavendula hybrida), Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia), Lavender Flowers (Lavendula hybrida).
Pros ?
- The scent is very refreshing
- Super gentle to the skin
- Does not dry out, leaves the skin soft and smooth
- No preservatives
- Gently exfoliates, clears black heads
Cons ?
- Tiresome to use. I hate how I have to work to wash my face (for this reason, I don't use it everyday)
- Takes a lot of time. If your a busy person, this is not for you.
- Messy. If the tiny particles stick to your hair or something, it takes like a million and two years to remove them.
- I'm always scared of the seeds getting in to my eyes :S
Value ? $10.95 for 3.5 oz. I guess it's a bit expensive considering the short shelf life time.
Repurchase ? Maybe. I do like the cleanser, but I have so many things that I want to try.

Hope this was helpful- Thanks for reading ;)

New Stuff : Urban Outfitters, Lush, and Crossroads

Hi Girls!
Hope you are having a great weekend!!
It was really really sunny and pretty here in NorCal,
so I had a nice lunch/date with the bf outside ^^.

Today I have a baby haul for you-
I haven't been shopping much,
since I am nearly broke right now T^T... (due to BFF's B-Day and a broken car),
but here are the stuff I recently picked up.
Hope you enjoy <3

First, I got these booties from Urban Outfitters.
I've been looking for a nice pair of boots that I can wear every day
and I think these are perfect!
and then,
of course I went to Lush and picked up another toner and a mask.
boring huh? but I love them :)
and last but not the least,
I found this Marc by Marc Jacobs bag at Crossroads!!!!!
for only $37.50!
I have to admit it's not my favorite design,
but I had to get it since
one, it was really cheap
&
two, it is light and spacey
which means it is a perfect school bag!
what do you guys think?
Have you found any thing interesting at the thrift store recently?

February Favorites

Hi Girls ^^ I can't believe it's already February Favorites time! ahhhh Time truly flies. This month, I haven't been buying a lot of makeup, but I still have a few beauty favorites along with other random things. Hope you enjoy-
1. Knit Sweaters : The weather has been really cold lately, so I've been wearing knit sweaters (underneath a coat) a lot. I like how they are super comfy, but stylish at the same time. H&M has a lot of cute ones right now.

2. Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara : Although it says 'atomic volume mascara', for me, it happens to be a fantastic lengthening mascara. The thin rubber wand is just perfect for my very short and straight lashes.

3. Missha Perfect BB Cream : I like this BB Cream, because it is extremely light weight, but still manages to even out the skin tone very well. Quite similar to the Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer, but in my opinion, better. Has SPF 45 in it and gives a dewy finish. Not a big fan of the fragrance, tho.

4. EOS Max Pure Brown Circle Lenses : I have been wearing these pretty much every single day since I got them lol. Full review here.

5. Rumba Romance from Sephora by OPI : I have a short review on this here. Such a lovely color!

6. Coconuts from Whole Foods : Haha I know, this is a random one. But I did want to mention that coconut water is the most refreshing thing in the world. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should!  Oh and also, I recommend getting the ones that has hole in it. Cutting a coconut can be such a pain in the butt!

7. Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer : Originally bought this because of one of my favorite Youtube gurus linds1986. Great for under eye area. I love how this lasts for a long time and doesn't set on the fine lines that much.

8. Love Lettuce Mask from Lush : My skin loves lush masks in general :), but Love Lettuce has been really really good this month. Although my all time favorite is Catastrophe Cosmetic (blueberry scented one), I have been only using this mask. It is very soothing after a long day and leaves my face baby soft. It also reduces the appearance of large pores. The scent is amazing, too.

9. Gold Necklaces : I don't know if it's the weather affecting me, but I've been reaching for gold accessaries like a crazy person. This is very strange, because I usually go for silver tones all year around.

Thanks for reading ♥ Amy

Honey I Washed The Kids In A Bottle? - LUSH It's Raining Men Shower Gel

Hello Ladies!
Hope everything is going well for you ^_^
Here is a quick review of LUSH'S It's Raining Men shower gel ~

It's Raining Men is LOVE.
I am just so sad that this is a limited edition product :(.

Before talking about the shower gel, I have to say that I'm a HUGE fan of LUSH and Honey I Washed the Kids Soap is my favorite. When I heard that there is going to be a shower gel that smells exactly like the soap, I had to try it out (no matter what). So I went to lush and sniffed it lol along with other limited edition products. At first, honestly, it was a little bit disappointing, because it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Right off the bottle, it smelt like Honey I washed the kids and the Flying Fox shower gel (Jasmine scent) mixed together. i.e. it was too strong. However, I did make a purchase and I am so glad that I did, because this is the best shower gel ever. When you use it in the shower, it is not that strong at all! The toffee-fudge with a hint of floral scent is really comforting. It lathers well and it is not too drying or too sticky. When I use any Lush soaps in the shower, I find it very drying, so this is going to be a good alternative. Overall, this is a great product- I'm going back to Lush today, because I think I need to stalk up a little bit :p.
What about you?
Are you tempted to try this shower gel?
Did you already get one yourself?
What do you think about it?
I'd love to hear from you!
