Products I'm Trying to Use Up

I'm currently trying to use up more of my makeup and buy less. I'm starting with 5 products, since I'm not very good at this kind of stuff - Trust me, I tried Project 10 Pan like a million times and have not succeeded once. It seems like it takes a while for me to use up a product even tho I use it everyday...
So What's on my "Use Up" List :

O HUI Cell Power No.1 Essence : Right now I have way too many skin care products, so I'm trying to use up the things that I've had for a while. I have 1/4 left, so it won't be too hard to finish. review here.
Skin Food Fresh Juice C Serum : Like I said, way too many skin care products - especially these kind of serum type thingies... This serum works great, but I want to finish it, because I'm not very keen about the scent - It's definitely citrusy at first (which I like), but ends up smelling like a men's cologne for some reason. Half left.
Missha Perfect BB Cream #21 : I honestly despise this BB Cream, because it makes my face so greasy during the day. I mix it with other BB creams to make it work. Roughly about half left.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 : I LOVE this lip balm and will repurchase it. It's just that I had it for a while and it's kinda grossing me out. 3mm left! - almost done :)
Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner in #12 : The cap broke on me, so I guess I have to use it up while it lasts. Right now I don't know how much there's left since it's slowly drying out. Wish MUFE had more sturdy packaging :/. swatch here.

What's on your "Use Up" list? I'd love to hear from you in the comments! :)

Haul : Sephora and Target

How is everyone doing?? It feels like I haven't posted in a while. School is seriously taking over my life and I don't know what happened to this week :S. I mean it's already Sunday! ..sigh.. Anyway, I need to catch up on reading blogs that I follow and obviously post more! So, please please be patient with me :).
Here are the things that I picked up recently - I haven't been able to shop a lot, but I figured I will show you anyway. Also, I see a few new followers, so hi! Really really nice to meet you and welcome to my blog~ :).
1. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Sand (Medium 0-1)
I needed a new blot powder to carry around in my makeup bag, so I picked up this guy at Target. I'm really excited to use it 'cause I heard so many good things about it ^^.
2. Boots No. 7 Exceptional Definition Nutrient Enriched Mascara in 01 Black
I always wanted to try things from Boots No. 7, since a  lot of people love the brand. I looked at their lip stuff and all, but ended up buying this guy. The brush looked pretty unique and I needed a new mascara anyway. Love the packaging as well - it's sleek and slimmer than most drugstore mascaras.
3. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer in Medium to Tan
If you have been reading my blog, you know that I don't use self tanners - at all. However, I decided to give it a try since I gained really weird tan lines over the summer. I'm a little afraid that it will turn out too orange, but we'll see what happens ;).
4. Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Habanera
This guy was a total impulse buy after a stressful class, but I'm glad that I got it. The shadows are very pigmented and I don't have anything like this in my collection. The left side is a sky blue with shimmers and the right is a muted plum with silver flecks.
5. MUFE Aqua Eyes in 14L
I wanted a white eye liner for my water line to look "more awake" in the mornings. So far I love most MUFE products so I grabbed the liner without hesitation. I used it twice and I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed. It applies unevenly and it makes white clumps in the lashes :(. I hope it'll work someday, because it was expensive.

And that is all for today- Hope you are all doing well-
Much love,
Amy

July Favorites

Hi Girlies :)
Summer is almost over and so is my vacation *sigh*. I know I'm acting like a child, but you know what I mean lol. Here are my favorite things for the month of July. Although the weather wasn't that hot here in SF (it was actually really cold and foggy ugh tell me about crazy weather), I kept my makeup light and fresh. Hope you enjoy!

1. SkinCeuticals Purifying Cleanser & Micro Exfoliating Scrub
This was a prize from Cheryl's Giveaway and I'm so so glad that I won, because these are such great products. The cleanser is very gentle yet good at cleansing. It doesn't lather that much, but it's also not like one of those Aveda cleansers that feels like lotion on the skin and doesn't lather at all. The scrub is even better! It has tiny tiny beads, hence the name, and feels so good and I mean sooo good on the skin. Sorry it's really hard to describe how it feels more than good haha. But yeah, I will recommend it to anyone with any skin types - even people with sensitive skin! Both of these products have a 'no scent' scent which is great.

2. MAC Cremeblend Blush in Optimistic Orange (MAC in Lillyland '10)
This blush is gorgeous. It looks kinda scary in the pan, but blends out as a really nice pink-orange. I use this blush all year around, but tend to use it more when I'm tanned - like right now :). Not really sure if it's a limited edition product, because I think you can get this at MAC Pro - I could be wrong, but yeah if it is, it's a shame cuz it's a gorgeous color.

3. MUFE Aqua Liner #12
This liner was my best friend during the month, because I've been training for the half marathon. Through all the sweat (haha gross) from running 8+ miles, it seemed to stay right in place. It does have a slight glossy finish which I'm not a big fan of, but besides that, I give two thumbs up. The applicator is in a good size as well.

4. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in #48 Evasion
I always had a doubt for Chanel cosmetics, but I guess, when it comes to lipsticks, you pay for what you get. The color isn't that special, but the finish is bomb! I found that it makes my lips look more plump and healthier. Great for everyday makeup - you don't really need a mirror to apply it, it's one of those easy lipsticks :).

5. The SF Marathon
If you have been reading my blog and following me on twitter, you know that I went for the half marathon on July 31st. And guess what? I happily finished the course in 2:29:54! It's obviously not the best record, but I finished!!! SFM managed to plan the course so nicely and the weather was great. Such a great experience and worth the hurt :).

April Favorites

Hi Everyone! ^0^
I hate to say this every month, but I can't believe it's that time again for the monthly favorites. 2011 is truly going fast. This month, I've been using the same products over and over again and these are them. As you can see, I've been loving COR~ALS~♫ . So, let's get right in to it!
1. Giorgio Armani Face Fabric in 02
I love this foundation! It's super light weight, but still manages to even out the skin tone very well.  This product doesn't give a ton of coverage by any means, but makes you look polished. It has the same kind of consistency as Benefit's Some Kind-A Gorgeous (cream to powder finish), but think it matches my skin tone way better. Also, this smells really good! It reminds me of baby lotion or baby shampoo, but much more subtle.
2. MUFE HD Powder
I go back and forth to this powder, because no matter how much I love it, it can make me look like a ghost time by time. This month, I've been using it pretty much everyday and learned to use it very sparingly. The key is not to use a huge kabuki brush, but a small contour brush. That way you can apply it very lightly only where you want it to be.
3. MAC Cremeblend Blush in Something Special
I hated this blush when I first got it, because for some reason I didn't think it was very special (haha bad joke.. but I couldn't resist). However, the second time I used it, I couldn't stop looking at the mirror lol. I love how it gives a natural flush and blends really well. I would say the color is a very similar to Nars Deep Throat, but without shimmer. Can you believe this was the only blush I used for almost 3 weeks straight ? I can't.
4. Mac e/s in Satin Taupe and Mulch
These guys were in my March Favorites, so I'm not going to talk about them very much, but I've been only using these two for the whole month. Satin Taupe all over the lid and Mulch in the crease and lower lash line. They are both lovely colors :).
5. Lip Combo in MAC's Myth and Ever Hip (LE, Liberty of London, 2010)
I think the pictures are pretty self explanatory - agian, loving the corals. And of course, you know I love my Myth lipstick :).
6. Benefit High Beam
I remember having the full size some time ago and I hated it so much that I threw it away. This mini size sample was in one of those try out kits and I didn't care about it so much. Two weeks ago, I tried it on my nose and cheekbones and I fell in love! That is probably why you shouldn't be throwing out your make up before it expires I guess... Anyway, this is a really pretty pearl with a hint of pink highlighter. Would recommend it to anyone!
7. Benefit Instant Brow Pencil
review here.
8. MAC Pencil in I Get No Kick (LE, Cham-Pale, 2010)
Love this pencil for the water line and inner corner. It makes my eyes look bigger and the color is gorg!!!!  I wish this was part of the permanent collection, because they don't have a bright colored pencil anyway. I love MAC, but sometimes I just don't understand...
9. TonyMoly Party Lover Gel Eyeliner in #2 Brown
This gel liner is by far the best. If you saw my haul, I currently bought Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner and think this is even better than that. It is very smooth when applying, but once it dries up, it doesn't move at all. Great for the price, too, because I think it was less than $5 (KRW 6,000).

That was it for makeup and here are my random ones :D

10. Trader Joe's Dairy- Free Mochi
It is no secret that I love coconuts, right? This Mochi ice cream is made out of coconut milk and has been my dessert for the whole month. At first, I thought it was a bit weird, because the mochi part was a bit rubbery (if that's the right word..), but that's why I'm so hooked as well.
11. TOMS Red Canvas Women's Classics
So comfy and light. I was really skeptical about these shoes, because they didn't seem worth 40 something dollars. One day my friend gave me a pair and all of my doubts disappeared. If you haven't, you should really try them out, they're for a good cause anyway :).

12. My Aldo Wedges
These are LOVE! I got tons of complements from random people on the street. OOTD post with them here.
