MAC Lipstick in Play Time Swatches (Quite Cute Collection)

Hi Girls!
I wanted to do a quick post on this lipstick that I got from the Quite Cute Collection. First of all, I am so disappointed! I thought I would like every single thing from this collection, but it turned out to be not so great. The eye shadows were too chalky and the blushes were nothing really special. The nail lacquers seemed pretty tho. Anyway, I ended up getting only one lipstick, yes only one! and it's called Play Time. Play time is a sheer magenta purple in cremesheen finish- so it's very moisturizing :) I do like the color, but think I will be wearing it with Myth most of the time (like I do with most lip products)... :p

    I love how myth can turn it into a completely different color. I wish I had the guts to buy such a bright and fun lipstick. Every time I walk into the mac store I pick up impassioned, but I've never walked out with it! ~Emily

    It's such a bright color! I don't think that color would look good on me though. However, it suits you really well. ^^

    Wow, I like the combination of Myth and Playtime~ So nice and milky~

    No, I haven't got anything from their collection. I like their concept!

    But seems like the collection was a disappointment to you :/

    @ TheEmmiFace haha I totally know what you are talking about! It's actually my first time picking up a bright colored lipstick. I think it's the weather that gave me the courage ;)

    @ Joanne aww thanks Joanne^^ It is definitely bright, but very sheer (I had to go back and forth like three times to get that swatch!), so I guess it's a bit more wearable than other bright lipsticks :)

    @ PopBlush yeah, I think I got too excited when I saw their cute promo image haha you know, when you're expecting too much you also get easily disappointed ;p

    awesome post, I loved the images from the quite cute collection, but decided not to pick anything up because It was just soo pasty for my skin tone, but i love the lipstick on you!

    couldn't agree more. thought i would LOVE everything .. but felt that i'd seen it all before. with the polishes i could easily find dupes and so passed. and the quality of the quad was just crap! but i love play time on you .. unfortunately SOLD OUT here >.<
